all i can do is keep staring at this. i read it in the Word tonight and it was like I stopped breathing for a second. really there is nothing more to say. it's better for the Word of God to speak for itself.

scott, thanks for your comment. just be careful about being "disgusted" with your brothers and sisters over a $5 difference between their spending and yours. maybe first ask the question, why do we all feel the need to go out to eat at all after church?? would you be as upset with their spending if you COULD afford the same fare each week? the post was expressing how i feel about the habits i'm guilty of and how God has been bringing healthy conviction. if others are likelwise convicted, that's fine, but for me to have an expectation of others following suit, would be a little like peering around the plank, to pull a speck from my brother's eye. i just wanted to make sure it doesn't seem like i'm coming down on anyone else but me.
